Corporate Social Responsibility

One of our core value is Commitment and this extends to all our stakeholders – our Clients, Candidates, Team and Society. WalkWater believes that we also need to be responsible corporate citizens and thereby work on providing wider impact to our society. Besides being ethical and honest across all our business or financial practices, WalkWater has taken initiatives to improve our environment and assist organizations working on helping the needy. We continue to keep increasing our corporate team efforts in building a better society.

Details of few of the CSR initiatives taken are given below:

Plantation on World Environment Day

World Environment Day (WED), also known as Eco Day or Environment Day, is observed every year on June 5th, aiming to raise awareness and promote action for the preservation of our environment.

WalkWater Team every year actively participates in the plantation event conducted by SayTrees Environmental Trust (www.saytrees.org) and thereby contributed our bit in conserving our greenery.

A visit to an orphanage on 20th of December, 2023

In this season of joy and celebration , one of the most important aspects is spending time and giving generously to the needy. Earlier this month the WalkWater Talent Advisors team spent time with the lovely kids at Vidyagokula Charitable Trust in Yelahanka, Bengaluru. It was indeed a humbling experience to see the joy on the faces of the lovely children and to admire the sincerity and commitment of their care givers. Also a timely reminder of how fortunate we all are and how we should never take this good fortune for granted but share it with the less fortunate. From all at WalkWater Talent – Happy and Blessed Christmas, filled with cheer and a warm happy and giving heart.

Reconstruction & refurbishment of the entire toilet block

WalkWater has been working with a rural school, Sane Guruji Vidyalay, that is based in Thane district, Ambernath taluka, Maharashtra. The school is part of the Zilla Parishad and has close to 150 students studying in the 8th / 9th / 10th standard. While the school is funded by the Zilla Parishad, these funds are inadequate for all their needs.
We have been engaged with the School Trust in understanding their needs and some of the on-ground constraints faced by them. One of their basic requirements was the construction of separate toilet bl0cks for boys and girls. We found that the existing toilet block was badly depleted and in a very bad condition. This was a huge challenge for the girl students and also became a reason for them to stay away from school.
We have partnered with the School Trust and have completed the reconstruction and refurbishment of the entire toilet block within a period of 30 days.
This initiative has helped address a key hygiene and safety issue at the school and the smiles of the students and the goodwill of the School Trust and Teachers continues to motivate us to keep contributing to society.
